About

The word “Doula” is from the Ancient Greek meaning “a woman who serves” . It is now used to refer to a trained, experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotion, and educational support to the mother, infant before, during and after birth.

About Me

When my son was born, I had no clue of the impact every 2 hours feeding would cause in our new lives. Inability to care for myself and with no family to help nor resources to tap into, took a toil on our physical and mental core.

Why I Do What I Do

“The Blank Pages of the Fourth Trimester” is a phrase I coined from my personal experience as a new parent. Alone with my husband then in a foreign country, cesarean birth with no clue whatsoever on the fourth trimester demands.

I lost memory of the first 3 weeks and this has given me passion in helping parents enjoy and build everlasting memories with their newborn from day one.

Fatigue and sleep deprivation may trigger postpartum depression and baby failure to thrive, throwing your family into survival mode.

I offer nurturing non judgmental support to your family in homes from day one during the night.

My services empowers parents embrace their new life with love, joy and confidence during this intimate period with their newborn. Providing support to care for your newborn in the privacy of your home during this delicate time enhances confidence and pillars for your family to thrive.

It is an honor to be invited in to your home. It is my pleasure that the pages of your newborn journey are live with lasting memories.

On my free time I enjoy the outdoors cycling, backpacking, travel and photography.

"I figured one 4 hour session of postpartum help cost the same as one hour of professional therapy. Having an organized house and a helping hand when everything else was so chaotic probably saved me more money in therapy and frustrations. If you're concerned about money, then this is one way to look at this 'indulgent' expense. Whatever your opinion is about asking for help - if you can't ask your mom, there's always a postpartum doula.”
